As an Assistant Professor of Assamese Literature at Govt. Model Degree College, Baghbar (GMDCB), Barpeta, Assam, I guide students in exploring the rich tapestry of Assamese as well as diverse Indian literary heritages. Rather than treating texts as static historical artifacts, I approach literature and culture as a living window into human empathy, regional identity and social change. Specializing in Assamese fiction, Comparative Indian Literature, Translation Studies and close-reading methodologies, my current research delves into how local, everyday narratives capture broader social transformations.
